Overview
Usagi no yu onsen is housed within the Goryukan hotel.
Easily accessible, just a 5-minute walk from the bottom of the Nakiyama 2 ski lift, go straight to this hot spring after enjoying the best that Happo One ski hill has to offer.
The onsen features an outdoor bath, indoor bath and Scandinavian style wooden sauna for both men and women.
The outdoor bath is set in tree lined courtyard with the bath itself covered by a wooden gazebo. Soaking your tired muscles, watching the snow fall all around you is a magical experience! The large Indoor bath is lined with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the courtyard.
The clear transparent hot water feels like soap and is locally known as the 'Spa of Belles'.
