For our peaceful properties collection, we have chosen secluded accommodations that are outside of the hustle & bustle of Echoland main street or central Happo One Village and with forest surrounds, out in the open fields or on quiet residential streets.

Where are the Hakuba peaceful properties located?

Happo One is the largest village in the Hakuba Valley but peace and quiet can still be found on the outer edges of the village and in neighbouring Wadano.

• Norway Forest Village -  past the ski jump stadium and into the forest, the Norway Forest Village area provides a true off-the-beaten-track setting within reach of central Happo One village
• Mizuho -  offers wide open space and mountain views with everything that central Happo and Echoland have to offer within walking distance
• Lower Wadano - the best of both worlds with its peaceful forest setting combined with easy access to the restaurants, nightlife and amenities of Happo One village
• Upper Wadano - a great choice for those wanting to avoid the people & vehicle traffic of Happo One Village and opt for a quieter location with beautiful forest surroundings and easy access to the beginner-friendly Sakka ski slopes and ski lifts of Happo One ski resort.

Away from Happo One and Wadano, the Kamishiro side of Goryu is a picturesque forest retreat with a handful of lodges and chalets tucked away in and amongst the trees.

How can I get to the ski lifts?

Our peaceful properties are either in residential enclaves or amongst the trees and so further away from the ski lifts.

Whether you prefer to jump on a shuttle bus, book a taxi or hire a car and drive yourself, there are plenty of options for getting around the Hakuba Valley.
