Overview
Located on route 322, the Mount Shirouma way, about 5 minutes drive from Lower Wadano or central Happo One, Obinata no yu is a beautiful secluded onsen with outdoor baths for men and women located well off the beaten path.
The outdoor rock pools are enclosed by aged red wooden fencing and surrounded by forest and mountains providing the perfect setting to relax, unwind and connect with nature.
The onsen is available to book for private hire in 1-hour time slots. Free pick up / drop off service from your accommodation is available for private bookings.

Bathers in private group bookings are permitted to wear swimwear in this onsen, which is ideal for mixed-sex groups and families wanting to bathe together.
Outside of private bookings, the onsen is open to the public without reservation.
Obinata no yu is a truly authentic mountain hot springs bathing experience.
