Overview
Akakura central might be close to the slopes, but it's also definitely close to everything else Myoko has to offer, including a range of great restaurants, bars and shops, and not to mention the town's incredible public onsens.
Of course, there's a range of transport throughout town available, too, as well as the hotel's transport that can be arranged with the staff during your day.
Akakura Central also caters well to skiers, offering large ski lockers and great drying rooms for free, and transport to and from the slopes can be easily arranged.
The English-speaking staff of the hotel are more than happy to help you out in organising your trip and your daily adventures, and are a highlight of all guest's stay at Akakura Central.

Restaurant & Lounge
The in-house restaurant at Akakura Central serves breakfast and dinner daily in a large dining hall, offering western and Japanese dishes, and each guest is encouraged to try the local and exciting sake.
Don't take our word for it, but the owner's known to give it out for free when he's in a good mood.
If you'd like to be a part of this, you'll need to spend some time hanging out in the gorgeous lounge areas of the hotel, which are designed to provide guests with an inviting and cosy space to relax.
They're decked out with a fireplace and plenty of décor, and the communal areas also get access to the hotel's free Wi-Fi.
Onsen
The hotel’s indoor onsens feature beautiful natural materials, plenty of décor and a great tranquil atmosphere, providing the perfect after-ski relaxation spot.
There are two indoor onsens, both of which are naturally heated and mineralized, and both of which are separated into men’s and women’s onsens, although there’s very little difference between them.
The onsens also have plenty of natural light, and both have stunning views of the surrounding area.
They’re also all open 24 hours a day, meaning you can relax whenever you’d like.
