Child care is conveniently located at the Myoko Snowsports Champion Shop at the bottom of the Champion #1 chairlift (where lessons meet).

What time and where do we go for child care?
Child care is located at our Myoko Snowsports Champion Shop at the base of the Champion #1 chairlift in Akakura.

Daily drop-off is available from 8:00am, and pick-up until 5:00pm. Advanced reservations are essential.
What does child care include each day?
Our child care professionals have many years experience looking after international children of all ages.
We will look after your child, play games, read books, draw pictures, play with toys and walk with them around the child care center and Myoko Snowsports shop.
Bookings of 4 or more hours include complimentary lunch. Dietary requirements can be catered to.
How many children can be looked after at once?
This depends on the age of the children. For younger children (6 months to 1.5 yrs) we will general look after 2 or 3 at once max. For older children we can look after one or two more.
My child is 3 years old, do you recommend child care or your mini mountaineers ski program?
The mini mountaineers ski lesson program is for children from 3 years old, and is available either morning or full-day.
Many 3 year olds get tired quickly while skiing, and so one good option is to book them in for the morning Mini Mountaineers program (9:30am to 1:30pm including lunch) and then child care for the afternoon.
Can my child have a nap while at child care?
Yes of course. Bedding facilities and a cot are available for naps.
Do their carers speak English?
A minimum of basic English is spoken by all our child care professionals, and they are able to communicate well with all children.
Should I book in advance?
They recommend booking well-prior to your arrival to ensure availability.
