- Hirafu is the most popular choice for families. The Upper Hirafu neighbourhood offers the ultimate in convenience with the shortest walk to the ski schools and an abundance of facilities & restaurants. For families wanting a peaceful location with space for the kids to play outside in the snow, the Izumikyo, Lower Hirafu and East Hirafu neighbourhoods, or even the nieghbouring Kabayama area, are all good choices.
- Niseko Village is a popular destination for families, offering ski in / ski out location with child care, kids ski school and winter activities including snow rafting, sled tours and snow shoe tours.
- Hanazono offers a luxury resort hotel experience at the Park Hyatt Hanazono with all the facilities you can think of and more including the Galaxy of Kidz adventure play facility. The Hanazono adventure centre is tailor made for kids who love the great outdoors from tubing and rafting to horse riding and snowmobiling.
- Annupuri village offers a quieter stay both in the village and on the slopes but does not quite match the others for English-speaking amenities.
