Experience the legendary Niseko powder ahead of the crowds and find those secret stashes with the experienced HPG team.
Tours can cater for all standards; from aspiring riders hoping to try their first powder run to full fledged backcountry fanatics.
With a small guide to guest ratio of 1:4, our team of highly trained guides are able to tailor the tour to your goals and ability and give you the best Niseko experience possible.
Each tour includes our ‘First Tracks’ service, allowing you access to Hanazono’s incredible ski runs before the lifts open to the public. Then, stay ahead of the crowds as your guide leads you through the best powder pockets that only the experienced locals know about.

2024 / 25 Prices
Tour Schedule
6:45 - 7:30: Early starts are part of the fun when you are chasing fresh tracks! Pick up times are quite early in order to make the most of our ‘First Tracks’
7:40 - 8:00: Before the tour a comprehensive safety briefing for the day is given that includes use of avalanche safety equipment.
8:00 - 13:30: Time to shred that powder! Full day tours are 6 hours long and half day tours are 4.5 hours. Your guide will be entirely flexible regarding breaks for snacks and lunch depending on what suits you.
13:30 - 14:00: After a big day on the mountain our driver will take you back to your accommodation for you or you can ski back to your accommodation to enjoy a well deserved rest or more powder!
What to Bring Along
- Powder skis or powder board. Ski poles with powder baskets are also strongly recommended
- Face mask and neck warmer
- Warm and well-fitting gloves
- Helmet and goggles
HPG Booking Details
- 5 participants will be required to book a tail guide ¥185,000 (¥125,000 + ¥60,000 / per day). If all 5 participants are level 4 or above, they can choose to take the tour with 1 guide (¥125,000 + ¥20,000 / per day).
- 6-7 participants will be required to book a tail guide regardless of their off-piste ability level, ¥185,000 (¥125,000 + ¥60,000 / per day).
- 8 participants need to have 2 lead guides (¥125,000 x 2 = ¥250,000).
- Please provide guest’s phone number at the time of booking
- Approximate pick up time: Annupuri area – 6:35am / Niseko Village area – 6:45am / Hirafu area – 7:00am
- Niseko United All Mountain Pass need to be arranged by participants. Please prepare it a day prior to the tour.
- Guests aged 12-15 need an accompanying guardian
- Guests aged 16-19 need a written waiver from a guardian
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required to complete the booking
Cancellation
- 31 days or more prior to the lesson date: 25% cancellation fee
- Within 30 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation fee
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.

We are only able to book for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.
Please enter your Samurai Snow Reservation Number provided to you when you booked your accommodation in the form below and we will email booking instructions to you.
If you submit a booking request and have not already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow, we will do our best to respond to your enquiry but this will not always be possible.
We are not able to book 7 days or fewer before the start date.
