Niseko Hot Tub Accommodation

After a long day of lessons, skiing the trees or chasing the power, slide into the soothing hot water of your own private hot tub and watch the snow fall or sun set on a perfect day.

In Niseko, hot tubs can be in the Western style with jet-powered bubbles or Japanese "Onsen-style" still water baths.

What is an “Onsen”?

Onsen is the Japanese term for geothermic hot springs and associated bathing facilities. The Niseko area features some fantastic onsen open to the public with the natural volcanic mineral rich water for which onsen are famous.

A select few properties in our Niseko accommodation range feature their own bathing facilities that seek to recreate the onsen experience in a private setting.

Beautifully designed, the private onsen are either Japanese style wooden or stone “Hinoki” baths with still water that can accommodate two to six people.

Take in the Niseko winter wonderland scenery outside from your cosy indoor Japanese bathhouse or brave the elements and feel the snow on your face in an outdoor “Rotenburo” bath from your deck, balcony or roof terrace.

Where are Niseko’s Hot Tub Accommodations?

All of Niseko’s hot tub properties can be found in Hirafu, Niseko largest village, or the neighbouring Kabayama area.

Broadly speaking, these are luxury apartments in the bustling Upper Hirafu or Middle Hirafu neighbourhoods or expansive private chalets in the peaceful Lower Hirafu or Izumikyo neighbourhoods.

Why choose a Hot Tub Accommodation?

  • Soothe your tired aching muscles after an action-packed full day of exertion on the ski hill ready to do it all again tomorrow
  • Unlike the public onsen, which require nudity, you can wear your swimwear; perfect for the more modest bather
  • Take in the view. Most of the private onsen features fantastic Mt Yohtei or Forest views
  • The ideal venue to share the story of your day on the slopes with your friends & family
  • The perfect way for non-skiers to unwind on a relaxing mountain getaway
  • Pop the champagne & celebrate life with the most important people in yours

If your next Niseko ski holiday simply must feature a relaxing soak, our selection of Niseko Hot Tub Accommodations each with its own special touch is the place to start.
