Come and discover the nuances of Japanese cuisine with Chef Chisato Amagai, co-author of the award-winning cookbook Harvest Niseko.
Classes are relaxed, delicious, and always hands-on. Our menus are simple, seasonal, and fun.
Our chef and an English-speaking assistant come to your property, arrange the kitchen, and conduct a memorable cooking class.
We provide all the ingredients and necessary equipment required for the session.
As part of the course, you will learn how to cook Japanese soul food using everyday ingredients so that you can prepare Japanese food anytime and anywhere.
Chef Chisato will also help list out essentials to stock in your pantry and explain how to use miso and other Japanese seasonings.
Menu
- White Japanese rice steamed with multigrain rice.
- Tofu and Wakame miso soup
- Chicken teriyaki
- Furofuki daikon (Braised radish with miso sauce)
- Pickled cucumbers

We will arrive at your property around 09:30am to set up the workshop.
Price
1 - 3 people at 35,000JPY. We can also offer a discount on your copy of Harvest Niseko by Tess Stomski and Chisato Amagai at 4,250JPY per book.
Group of 4 - 6 people at 11,000JPY per person, or 15,250JPY per person including a copy of Harvest Niseko by Tess Stomski and Chisato Amagai.
Thai Cooking Class
LEARN TO COOK YOUR FAVORITE THAI DISHES
Classes are relaxed, delicious, and always hands-on.
Our Thai chef, Annie, along with a Japanese-speaking assistant will come to your property, arrange the kitchen and conduct a memorable cooking class.
We provide all the ingredients and necessary equipment for the lesson.
Chef Annie will explain the various seasonings and suggest appropriate substitutes.

Menu A
- Larb Moo (Minced pork with mint leaves salad)
- Tom Yum Goong (Prawns in lemongrass soup and mushrooms)
- Pad Thai Gai (Stir-fried rice noodles, with egg, prawns, fresh bean sprouts and roasted peanuts)
Menu B
- Yum Woon Sen (Glass noodle salad with minced pork and lime juice)
- Tom Kha Talay (Seafood in coconut soup and mushrooms)
- Massaman Gai (Chicken Curry with potatoes and onions)
