Overview

Prince Hotels have a long history in Shiga Kogen and with their three signature properties all located right on the slopes, they take a commanding position within the Shiga Kogen Ski Fields. The Prince Hotel Group also owns and operates many of Shiga's best lifts and gondolas, several departing directly from their properties' door steps.

Their prize property offers totally exclusive ski-in-and-out access is the East Prince in Shiga Kogen at Yakebitayama Ski Resort. This property reminds one of a cruise ship with its long sleek lines and all rooms offer impressive slope-side and mountain views.

Like many of the Prince ski resort properties, their main dining room was built to impress its diners with not just the quality of their chefs, but also that of the beautiful views one gets from their table of the ski slopes and the pristine mountain views.

If you're looking for something more intimate, the cocktail lounge upstairs, known as the Salt Lake Bar with ski slope views and illuminated in the evening, might be the place for you and you friends.

The hotel is also fitted with a lounge area coffee shop, convenience store that sells souvenirs, snacks, alcoholic beverages and also offers complimentary bus services to all of its properties running throughout the day.

Breakfast consists of a huge range of hot and cold buffet items with a combination of Japanese and western food. Lunch is a Japanese and western a-la-carte menu. For dinner there's a choice of Japanese (hot pot set menus such as shabu-shabu), Chinese or French-Italian cuisine.

The ski-in-ski-out location at Yakebitayama ski area cannot be beaten and the ski storage provided by the hotel makes it easier than ever to simply enjoy your holiday doing what you love.

Unguided Package Tours - EFRS & Tourism VISAs

A valid EFRS certificate and Tourism VISAs for all members of your group are required to gain entry to Japan for tourism under the unguided package tour entry requirements (amongst other conditions).

EFRS registration & certificate and Japanese medical insurance can be arranged for bookings made for this accommodation for a non-refundable fee of ¥25,000 per person.

Medical insurance covering illness and injury including Covid-19 is mandatory. The Japanese medical insurance included with this booking includes coverage for up to 10 Million Yen, 24 hours call centre support, cashless treatment and is valid for 14 days. Additional days coverage can be added for ¥1,000 per person per day.

All accommodation bookings must be made with a travel agent, including airport hotels and city stopovers.

International return flights must be booked with a travel agent in your home country.

75 or more days before check in date - 25% cancellation fee applies
Within 75 days of check in date - 100% cancellation fee applies

Check In / Out

Check in time is from 15:00 and check out time is from 10:00
Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows
Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before

Niseko and Hakuba are the largest ski resorts each with multiple villages to choose from.

You can search for accommodation in all of the villages within Niseko or Hakuba by selecting “Niseko – Any Village” or “Hakuba – Any Village” OR you can search by village, for example “Niseko – Hirafu or Hakuba – Happo One.

Checking Availability

We will respond to you via email to confirm the availability status within 24-48 hours.
