Designed with the discerning traveller in mind, their Signature instructors and guides are committed to delivering an unparalleled lesson or tour and the very best experience of Hakuba on any given day.
Lessons can take place anywhere in the Hakuba Valley (except for Happo One) - Hakuba 47, Goryu, Iwatake, Tsugaike, Norikura or Cortina.
They have 4 Signature Lesson lengths available, each starting and finishing at your accommodation as follows:
Signature Ski Week
- 5x full days of unlimited slope time
- Choose 5 out of 6 consecutive days (possible to take a 1 day break during the week)
- Save ¥30,000 versus booking 5x Signature Full Day Lessons
Signature Full Day
- Our most popular option - make the most of your day
- 6.5 hours from collection to drop off
Signature Extended Half Day
- Get an early start and take advantage of the powder/ fresh groomers
- 4 hours from collection to drop off
Signature Half Day
- Half a day on the mountain and half a day to ski yourself / do your own thing
- 3 hours from collection to drop off

Where should I have my lessons?
The Hakuba Valley is made up of 10 separate ski areas.
Each ski area has it’s own distinct character and are well connected via the extensive free shuttle bus system.
2024 / 25 Prices
- Availability of lessons is limited, so please book as early as possible
- Lessons include qualified ski/snowboard instructor (English speaking), insurance and tax
- Please bring lift pass, winter clothing, helmet, gloves and goggles
- Ski and snowboard private lessons must be booked separately
- Maximum 5x people per instructor
- Lesson durations are from your collection to drop off.
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required within 5 days of the booking request being confirmed.
Cancellation
- 31 days or more prior to the lesson date: 25% cancellation fee
- 8 to 30 days prior to the lesson date: 50% cancellation fee
- Within 7 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation fee
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.

You can book Signature Lessons in Goryu, Hakuba 47, Happo One, Iwatake, Tsugaike, Norikura & Cortina OR "Meet at the Mountain" Private Lessons in Hakuba 47 through this Booking Form. Please check that you are selecting the right product.
We are only able to book for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.
Please enter your Samurai Snow Reservation Number provided to you when you booked your accommodation in the form below and we will email booking instructions to you.
If you submit a booking request and have not already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow, we will do our best to respond to your enquiry but this will not always be possible.
We are not able to book 7 days or fewer before the start date.
