Vinyasa Flow

This class will get you breathing, moving and inspired.

We’ll begin by slowing it right down to establish a strong connection with our breath, and from there the sequences will focus on weaving all our movements with the breath. If you’re looking for an all around feel-good class, this is the one for you.

We will flow, strengthen, and tone the entire body.

This practice is open to all levels and abilities; we will always provide different options to keep it more relaxed or really amp it up.

Yin Yang Flow

The perfect class to come to right after your big day on the mountain.

Yin Yang Vinyasa plays with the balance between strength/flexibility, heating/cooling, and active/relaxing.

The goal is to cultivate energy, but also to instill a deep sense of peace.

The first half of the practice will incorporate Yang (movement) Vinyasa, with poses focusing on energizing and building heat.

The second half will ease into Yin (stillness), a slow & deep practice that takes the time to stretch the connective tissues in the hips, thighs, and lower spine.

Stretch + Strengthen

These classes will be tailored to help build strength, stability and flexibility.

Tailored to compliment your activities within different sporting disciplines, but open to anyone who wants to build strength and flexibility to prevent injury and aid recovery.

You will find more focus on the anatomical elements of a yoga practice such as alignment and form.

There will be less of a traditional yoga flow and more focus on moving through targeted poses to work on focused areas of the body.

Power Flow

Prepare to discover muscles you didn’t know you had!

A more athletic style of yoga practice, this fun and challenging 60 min class will have you moving, sweating and breathing like you never have before.

With a creative and eclectic mix of traditional and innovative yoga postures, get ready to play with and flow through many asanas with a powerful approach and attitude.

Each class is designed to create strength. This in turn will help to prevent injury, build fitness levels, release tension, and create more flexibility and stamina.

Core Fitness

Our 60 minute Core class is all about building your baseline strength.

Our core is the powerhouse of our body and having good core strength is vital for not just for our yoga practice but for all the other sports that we love, be it on the mountain or off.

You will find some traditional yoga moves but the main focus of the class is to raise your heart rate and work your muscles in a full body strength and conditioning session.

Because of its core focus, this class is popular not only for building fitness, but also in rehabilitation.

It can be used to progress individuals through movements that represent their day-to-day activities.

The focus on strengthening the core and improving postural awareness are especially well indicated for the alleviation and prevention of back, neck and joint pain.

Mindful Yin Stretch

Everybody needs to stretch more, especially if you are active in mountain sports.

Mindful Yin Stretch is designed for all levels and abilities with a slow, accessible pace, and with most of the poses done while seated.

This practice is inspired by “Yin” yoga and includes simple poses with longer holds to stretch the dense connective tissue of the lower back, hips, and spine.

We will use lots of props (blocks, straps, cushions, rollers, and balls) so you can relax, feel supported, and get deeper into the body.

Students are offered the opportunity to surrender, slow down and come back to balance.

Throughout the long holds, there is a strong focus on the breath, staying present in the moment, and letting go of tension.

This class will help you to slow down, relax and go inwards. Science has proven that regular mindfulness practice can have powerful long-lasting effects.

Mindfulness helps to activate our rest-and-digest system and begin the process of ushering our body back to a more natural and calm state.

Our body begins to heal and grows stronger and more resilient. Combined with deep, slow, long-hold stretches we can bring together our mind and body to promote health, wellness and recovery.

Through this practice we begin to notice our body and mind more easily let go of daily stressors and challenges.

We feel calmer. We can focus more clearly. We can be more creative. We feel more balanced and comfortable in our skin.

Breathwork

Breathwork refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques.

This class will help improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

During a breathwork class we intentionally change our breathing patterns to bring about improvements in emotional state and to decrease levels of stress. We breathe on average 20,000 times a day yet most of us are unaware of its incredible ability to transform the way we feel.

Most assume the autonomic action of everyday breathing is sufficient. The truth is many people breathe in shallow and constricted patterns. 1 in 10 people have symptoms of dysfunctional breathing and we all have experiences in life that affect our breathing patterns.

Kid's Yoga

Join us weekly for a fun filled kids yoga class!

Each class will be themed around a great story and adventure for your little ones to really have fun while they practice yoga.

There will be activities, games and lots of creative yoga poses to keep them entertained.

Studio owner Charlie Davies is a specially trained Kids yoga teacher and loves to share her knowledge with the little ones.

A self confessed "big kid" she really knows how to deliver the message of yoga in a fun and friendly way. Classes are suitable for kids aged between 5 and 11.

If your little one is under 5 they can still attend the class but yourself (parent) or a guardian must remain present.
