Evergreen's teaching structure is divided into various levels. They will guide you to the ideal level for your individual needs and standard.
The group lesson programs offer a smooth transition from total beginner through to advanced skier/snowboarder.
Group Lessons are enjoyable and provide a wonderful opportunity to meet new people!

- Adult Snowboard lessons of all ability levels are not offered in Tsugaike but are offered in Happo One.
- Adult Ski Group Lessons for students with Ability Levels 4 are not offered in Tsugaike but are offered in Happo One.
- If you'd like specific training (racing, moguls, park, powder etc), then Private Lessons may be more suitable for you.
Ability Level Descriptions
Hakuba Hero Lesson Programs (7 to 14 years) - Ski only
The Hakuba Heroes program teaches kids to ski while having fun and making friends with others their age.
Children are placed into groups based on their level and instructors discuss their progress with ski school managers daily to ensure they are always placed in the group most suitable to their needs.
Children can feel positive and proud of themselves as they see continual daily skill-development.
Your child will be taught under the safety of qualified Evergreen staff members who ensure they receive the best care possible.

Hakuba Hero Lessons - What to Expect
Flexi Week Saver - 7 days
Flexi-Week provides the flexibility to take part in full-day programs for up to 7 consecutive days for a similar price to that of 5 days.
That’s 2 free days up your sleeve to have a rest day, go on a cultural tour – or for you to use in ski school!
2024 / 25 Prices
- Reservations are strongly recommended
- All lessons begin and end at Evergreen International Ski School (Tsugaike Base) on the slopes of Tsugaike
- For multi-day prices, lesson days must be continuous and must be purchased in the same transaction
- Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to your lesson start-time to register.
- Lessons include qualified ski/snowboard instructor (English speaking), insurance and tax
- Please bring lift pass, winter clothing, knit cap, gloves and goggles
- Kids need to have their own ski/snowboard gear. Evergreen does not operate snowsports equipment rentals
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required within 5 days of the booking request being confirmed.
Cancellation
- 15 days or more prior to the lesson date: 0% cancellation fee
- 8 to 14 days prior to the lesson date: 50% cancellation fee
- Within 7 days of the lesson date: 100% cancellation fee
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.

You can book Hakuba Platinum Experience, Group Lessons in Happo One & Tsugaike and Private Lessons in Happo One, Iwatake, Tsugaike & Cortina through this Booking Form. Please check that you are selecting the right product.
We are only able to book for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.

If you submit a booking request and have not already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow, we will do our best to respond to your enquiry but this will not always be possible.
We are not able to book 7 days or fewer before the start date.
