Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido, is Japan's 5th largest city and has a population of around 2 million people.
Sightseeing, shopping, dining, nightlife and the famous Sapporo Snow Festival that takes place every February are the main draws for visitors.
The Hokkaido Resort Liner is a great value bus service offering both a Sapporo to Rusutsu bus for arrival and a Rusutsu to Sapporo bus for departure.
There is one departure per day for the Sapporo to Rusutsu bus and three departures per day for the Rusutsu to Sapporo Bus
The transfer time is around 2 hours but can vary a little bit depending on road and weather conditions.
2024 / 25 Prices
- Adults are classed as 12 years and older.
- Child Prices are available for children aged 3 to 11 years.
- Infants aged 0-2 years are permitted free of charge if they do not require a seat.
- Please arrive at the meeting location 15 minutes prior to the departure time of your bus.

Sapporo to Rusutsu Bus Timetable
- Sapporo city to Rusutsu service runs every day from 2nd December 2024 to 31st March 2025
- You may be asked to change vehicles when departing from Sapporo
- Depending on the other reservations on your bus, Resort Liner may ask you to change the departure time of hotels in Sapporo
Niseko to Sapporo Bus Timetable
- Rusutsu to Sapporo city service runs every day from 2nd December 2024 to 31st March 2025
- Drop off at Sapporo city hotels in no particular order

Payment
- Full payment via the booking portal is required to complete the booking
Cancellation
- 8 or more days in advance of the transfer date: Full refund is provided*
- Within 7 days of the transfer date: 100% cancellation fee
- "Cancellation" includes changes that reduce the overall value of the booking.
* Refunds are made in Japanese Yen. The amount that you receive in your home currency may differ from the amount you paid in your home currency due to exchange rate fluctuations.

We are only able to book for guests who have already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow.
Please enter your Samurai Snow Reservation Number provided to you when you booked your accommodation in the form below and we will email booking instructions to you.
If you submit a booking request and have not already booked accommodation with Samurai Snow, we will do our best to respond to your enquiry but this will not always be possible.
We are not able to book 7 days or fewer before the start date.
