Overview

A chalet filled with the warmth of wood that was born in January 2024. As the name of the house suggests, this eye-catching building was built with plenty of Japanese cypress.

Hinoki has been used as a traditional Japanese building material since ancient times, such as in Kabuki stages and Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

The wood breathes, creating a comfortable space with its humidity regulating and insulating properties, and the scent of cypress is said to improve your sleep quality.

The living room is located on the second floor with high ceilings and large windows, allowing plenty of sunlight from above. And since you don't have to worry about being seen from outside, you can enjoy a comfortable stay with privacy and a sense of openness.

Hinoki Chalet has three bedrooms, each with a bathroom and underfloor heating.

The master bedroom on the first floor is available with either one king bed or two single beds. There are two large sinks and a large bathtub.

The second bedroom on the first floor has two bunk beds and can accommodate up to four people.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an IH stove, oven, dishwasher, and Nespresso coffee machine.

The living room and dining room face south so you can enjoy the beautiful nature of Hakuba. You can also see Hakuba47 and Happoone!

This accommodation is new to our range but is located next to Hakuba Larch Peak Chalet on the Location Map.

Located in the Misorano area of Echoland, HAL Cottage is straddled between the two major resorts of Happo and 47/Goryu and at the doorstep of many restaurants and bars.

It's in a quiet location within walking distance from Echoland, so why not have a casual breakfast at the cafe or have a drink at the bar?

Payments

  • 35% Deposit Payment required at the time of booking
  • 65% Balance Payment required no later than 75 days before the check in date

Cancellation

  • Cancellation requests must be made via email (info [at] samuraisnow.com) or website contact form and reconfirmed by Samurai Snow before being considered a cancellation.
  • 76 or more days before check in date - 35% cancellation fee applies
  • Within 75 days of check in date - 65% cancellation fee applies

Check In / Out

  • Check in time is from 15:00 and check out time is from 10:00
  • Early check in and late check out can be requested and will be accommodated where the accommodation schedule allows
  • Early check in cannot be guaranteed in advance & late check out can only be confirmed the night before
